WHAT'S
GOING ON
at
CORPUS CHRISTI CHURCH

We are always trying to grow and truly be representative of the Gospel and the Church.
I would love your opinion and input.
What are your opinions of what we can do to share the Gospel?
Is there anything we can do for you, Brothers and Sisters, in our community?
Do you have any suggestions for our website?
Please complete the form below and submit it to us. You do not have to provide your name and email address. It is optional.
My Dear Parishioners,
I came across this reflection from Scripture Comes Alive that I wanted to share with you. Here are some guidelines to help you attain some peace:
You cannot control external circumstances of your life, but you can control your reaction to them.
Optimal health is the product of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual factors.
Think of yourself as spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy.
Things change. Change is the only constant in life.
Your beliefs are incredibly powerful.
The only escape from stress, fear, doubt, is to confront them directly and see them for what they really are.
Deal with your emotions openly and honestly--do not stuff them.
Would you rather be right or would you rather have peace? Accept yourself as you are -- maintain positive self-esteem and a positive self-concept.
Practice forgiveness.
Stay open to life’s teachings.
Be patient.
There is a Latin saying, Patentia est Auriga virutis --
Patience is the charioteer of virtues.
Siempre Adelante

Corpus
Christi
Live Streaming Mass
VOLUNTEER
POSITION
We will train you for this
surprisingly easy task
We are very excited
that Corpus Christi will soon be able to make our
Sunday Mass available on the Parish website via live
streaming! This means the experience of Mass will
be available to our homebound parishioners and to
anyone else who would like to view our Mass, but is
unable to attend on Sunday.
This new
technology also presents an opportunity for a volunteer
position at Corpus Christi on the Sundays that we
are recording the Mass. We are looking for someone
to help make this a reality. If you are interested,
contact the parish office at 310- 454-1328, or by
email at parishmail@corpuschristichurch.com.

Homeless Outreach
in Pacific Palisades
Pacific Palisades
has experienced an increase in its homeless population
over the past several years. In October of 2014 a
group of local people formed the
Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness.
This Task Force is made up of community volunteers
committed to compassionately addressing the serious
issues associated with the homeless. They have decided
to reach out to a group of experts that have experience
in empowering homeless people to rebuild their lives.
This group is the OPCC and our local task force is
hoping to work with them in trying to respond to this
challenge in our community.
We here at Corpus
Christ are have committed a fund to support the task
force.

Catholic Coalition

from the Los Angeles Archdiocese will build one of
